M.A.Sattar has been an educator, researcher, trainer, examiner, moderator for Social Sciences Courses (including Psychology, Government and Politics and Sociology) at Further and Higher Education levels. He has also been a composer of curricula and a verifier for Quality Assurance into the Social Sciences since the mid 1980s. He began lecturing and teaching at the University of Central Lancashire on degree courses into Public Policy. Then at Stockport College of FE and HE (from the early 1990s until 2009) where he was a Lecturer on Access to HE Diploma Courses as well as A Levels in Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology and Health Studies) and humanities. He was also auditor of standards as well as an Inspector of Teaching, Learning and Assessment. Subsequently expanded his expertise to secondary level education. He was headteacher at K.D.Grammar School for Boys in Manchester which is a leading Islamic school for boys at secondary level. He has more recently become a consultant into the curriculum and standards in education.
