VISION

Minhaj College Manchester (MCM) is a full-time independent Muslim college providing a high-quality education in various academic disciplines (i.e A-Levels) alongside accredited courses in Islamic studies.

Whilst we thoroughly learn from and aspire to centuries-old Muslim educational tradition, we do not shy away from utilising modern teaching methods, to ensure that our students are provided with an enriching educational programme which caters for the society that they live within.

MCM is founded by Dr Muhammad Tahirul-Qadri and it is a continuation of his work over the last 30 years in developing and expanding a network of over 600 schools, colleges and a university in many countries around the world.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has a vision of not merely imparting Islamic knowledge, but to revitalise the classical Islamic teachings so that the needs of the contemporary era can be met with the intended spirit of the Islamic tradition. Putting this vision into practice, he has established the Minhaj University, Lahore, and over 600 schools and colleges.

MCM is currently undergoing its first academic year and is working with various accredited organisations to ensure that it meets its aspiration to provide the highest levels of academic quality.

Various further education courses are provided including A-Levels in multiple disciplines alongside vocational courses and higher education provision will be introduced in the years to come.

MCM takes pride in providing a holistic environment for all students offering personal, spiritual and academic guidance, thus making its pastoral care system a central part of daily activities.
